What is Ketupat?
Sometimes known as mini Satay Rice Cake (aka Kupat or tipat) because they are served together. It is a rice cake packed inside a diamond-shaped container of woven palm leaf pouch.
For festive occasions, we usually have ketupat wrapped in woven palm leave pouches in the shape of diamonds.

Cooking Guidelines
1. Boil
Rinse rice packet, then boil with water covering rice packets for 60-90 minutes while turning it over and over. (The rice packets can expand up to 4 x the original size.) You may add water during intervals to assure the water level is always covering the rice packets.
2. Dice
Drain the rice packets when it’s cooked. Leave it to cool for 2-3 hours before cutting into cubes. For immediate serving, cool it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
3 Serve
Ideal for serving with satay, soto and rendang.
Store in a Cool Dry Place.
